Companies are increasingly reliant on data for the answers to questions and are less influenced by the blah blah blah and gut feelings of “that person who is louder and uses big fancy business words”. The people looking into the data are most likely to start their sentences with something like:
“We ran a regression on purchase behaviour of high value customer segments for the last 6-months and found…”
whereas those with a data-phobia might go with something like..
“I feel like we have lost synergies and I guess our brand value is a bit low …”
